TRUFFLE HUNTING TOUR
Go behind the scenes of the world's most secretive business.
Take a tour of a Provençal truffle plantation, learn how truffles are cultivated and truffle dogs are trained, and go on a hunt for France's elusive "black gold" with professional hunters who know all the tricks of the trade.
You'll be regaled with stories of successes and sabotage, and learn to tell the difference between the different types of French truffles and the imposters from other countries. You'll also learn how to clean, store and cook with truffles. Tours are followed up with a sampling of fresh truffle hors d'oeuvres, Champagne and a tasting of olive and truffle oil.
A real treat! And should you decide to purchase a bottle of olive oil as a souvenir, feel good knowing that 50% of the profits go to the One Family orphanage in Haiti.

Weekend tours at flexible hours, weekday tours at 6pm in summer, 4pm in winter. Please book at least one week in advance. Tours are weather permitting.

NOTES
The olive and truffle oil is 100% organic, extra-virgin and cold pressed.
It's also made with olives from trees that were grown in the wild and have never been treated with chemicals of any kind. And they don't plump up the olives unnaturally using a water-wasting irrigation system. Any extra water the trees need comes from collected rainwater.
Respect for nature is the highest priority.

We enjoyed a "truffle tour" and a "grape stomping". I would highly recommend both experiences. Johan is very funny and knowledgeable and Lisa is very nice. They know how to entertain their guests! These two events are unique and something we will always remember. My only suggestion for improvement would be to have an age limit to participate. It is my humble opinion, that no one under the age of 12 should be allowed to be involved. Another 5 star rating.
Again, everyone had a delightful time and thought it was a vacation of a life time, one they will never forget and one we would all like to do again. I thank you for helping make our dreams come true.
We had such a wonderful time with Johann and Thomas and he will probably do some business for truffles!! Very exciting!
